Friday Night Cocktails:
WHEN: 6pm – 8pm
WHERE: Bar Lurcat
Reservation: “Steinman-Kelly”. Come to the bar side, not restaurant.
WHAT: We’ll be out for a no-host and low-key gathering to welcome you all to Minneapolis. The lovely Bar Lurcat is on the edge of downtown, right on Loring Park and is kitty-corner from Walker Art Center and Walker Sculpture Garden (which are HIGHLY recommended if you’re looking for fun before the cocktails).
NOTE: allow time for rush-hour traffic delays to get to this location. Parking is on-street metered & there’s valet. (Oooh, fancy!) Also: it’s a bar so no kiddos.
And yes, they have a kitchen if you’re wanting to get yourself some supper while you’re there –delish food!!

Saturday Ceremony:
WHEN: Ceremony begins at 4 bells.
WHERE: “Cottage on Clover” (aka: Melanie’s parents’ home) is located at 5130 Rainier Pass, Columbia Heights, MN 55421

Sunday:
PICNIC LUNCH FOR WEDDING GUESTS
WHEN: 12:30pm start gathering; catered food will arrive at ~12:45pm.
WHERE: Picnic pavilion in Kordiak Park, RIGHT where the orange “pin” is on this map. (‘tis 1 block south of the wedding location.)

IRISH DANCE:
WHEN: 2:00pm
WHAT: After our picnic, our Irish musician and set dancing friends will join us for a céilí.
As all of our dancing and Irish music sessioning does, this will run on “Irish time” and will probably go until 5:00pm or so… (It is certainly OK for you to leave part way through the dance if you wish… but not without a smooch good-bye.) xo!
